Co-location Hosting

Co-location facilities give a secure place to house the client's servers and equipment.

ISP offer co-location by providing space, power and a link to the Internet for their customers' servers. They make regular tests to check if the servers are running. If a server fails they inform their customer promptly. This is known as a ping power pipe arrangement where ping means sending a pocket to the server to see if it responds, power is electricity and pipe is the line to the Internet.
